Job Description

You will be Aeyron Technologies in-house authority on advanced analytics, machine learning, and applied economics. Sitting at the intersection of product, finance, and strategy, you will design predictive models, build financial and econometric frameworks, and translate data-driven insights into commercially actionable recommendations that accelerate revenue growth and operational efficiency

Responsibilities

• Frame business problems as supervised / unsupervised ML tasks.
• Clean, engineer, and version large-scale datasets (SQL, Spark).
• Prototype, train, and deploy models (Python/R, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch).
• Own the full MLOps lifecycle: experiment tracking, CI/CD, model monitoring, A/B testing.
• Develop macro- & micro-economic forecasting models (ARIMA, VAR, GARCH, DSGE).
• Conduct policy impact studies and scenario analysis for new markets / products.
• Publish concise “data stories” for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Build 3-statement models, valuation dashboards, and stress-testing engines.
• Perform sensitivity / Monte-Carlo analyses on pricing, credit, market, and liquidity risk.
• Partner with Finance to refine budgets, KPIs, and capital-allocation decisions.
• Design self-service BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) and statistical reports.
• Run workshops to upskill product managers, engineers, and analysts in data literacy.
• Present results to C-suite and external partners in clear, non-technical language.

Skills and Qualifications

• PhD/MSc in Applied Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong foundation in probability, linear algebra, optimization, and micro/macroeconomics.
• 5+ years professional experience building predictive models and statistical analyses.
• Fluency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) **and** R.
• Expert user of SQL and at least one cloud data stack (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on with econometric suites (EViews, Stata) and scientific computing tools (MATLAB, SPSS).
• Demonstrated ability to create full-stack financial models; FMVA, CFA (Level III) or equivalent is a plus.
• Track record of turning technical findings into compelling narratives for mixed audiences.

Bonus Points

• Experience deploying models with Docker/Kubernetes and using ML-flow, DVC, or similar tracking tools.
• Familiarity with qualitative research platforms (NVivo) and survey design/analysis.
• Prior exposure to the Pakistani fintech, telecom, or energy sectors.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals or major conferences.
